PRE-TESTING HUMAN RIGHT MONITORING TOOL IN SINGIDA

After the staff capacity building, HakiMadini staff plus the facilitator embarked on a field trip for four days (7th – 10th )0ct 2015) to Singida region where Shanta Gold mining conduct mining operations. The visit was aimed at pre-testing the tool if it acquainted with the environment, and if it’s workable. This will result in updating the tool in accordance with the prevailed information and coming up with an initial findings document.  

 On 8th and 9th  Oct 2015 the team went to Mang’onyi, Mlumbi, Londoni villages of Singida  for field visit and the activity objective is to pre- test /or road test the checklist tool for documenting the Corporate Human Rights abuses  and updating the tool.
